Total and differential cross sections for νμe→νμe and ν¯μe→ν¯μe are measured. Values for the model-independent neutral-current couplings of the electron are found to be gV=−0.107±0.035(stat)±0.028(syst) and gA=−0.514±0.023(stat)±0.028(syst). The electroweak mixing parameter sin2θW is determined to be 0.195±0.018(stat)±0.013(syst). Limits are set for the charge radius and magnetic moment of the neutrino as (〈r2〉)<0.24×10−32 cm2 and fμ<0.85×10−9 Bohr magnetons, respectively.

The weak coupling constants of the electron, gVe and gAe, are determined from measurements of the total and differential cross sections for the reaction νμe→νμe. The data also place limits of interest on the magnitudes of a neutrino charge radius and a possible neutrino magnetic dipole moment.

The cross section of the γγ → p p reaction was measured at two-photon center-of-mass energy ( W γγ ) between 2.2 and 3.3 GeV, using the two-photon process at an e + e − collider, TRISTAN. The W γγ dependence of the cross section integrated over a c.m. angular region of | cos θ ∗ | < 0.6 is in good agreement with the previous measurements and the theoreticalv prediction based on diquark model in the high W γγ region.

Using modularized NaI(Tl) detectors, we carried out a high statistics measurement of inclusive γ-ray, π0, and η spectra, and determined the branching ratios or upper limits of Pontecorvo reactions p¯d→π0n, π0Δ0, ηn, and ηΔ0 from the corresponding monochromatic peaks in them. The obtained branching ratios are B(p¯d→π0n)=(1.03±0.41)×10−5, B(p¯d→π0Δ0)=(4.67±1.66)×10−5, B(p¯d→ηn)<8.94×10−6 (95% C.L.), and B(p¯d→ηΔ0)<6.49×10−5 (95% C.L.).
