Total and differential cross sections for νμe→νμe and ν¯μe→ν¯μe are measured. Values for the model-independent neutral-current couplings of the electron are found to be gV=−0.107±0.035(stat)±0.028(syst) and gA=−0.514±0.023(stat)±0.028(syst). The electroweak mixing parameter sin2θW is determined to be 0.195±0.018(stat)±0.013(syst). Limits are set for the charge radius and magnetic moment of the neutrino as (〈r2〉)<0.24×10−32 cm2 and fμ<0.85×10−9 Bohr magnetons, respectively.

Analyzing power of inclusive production of pi+, pi-, and K0(S) by polarized protons at 13.3-GeV/c and 18.5-GeV/c

Phys.Rev.D 41 (1990) 13-16, 1990.
Inspire Record 299995 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.23009

We have measured the analyzing power in π+, π−, and KS0 production by a polarized proton beam at 13.3 and 18.5 GeV/c. The data cover the central and the beam fragmentation region, in the transverse-momentum range up to 2 GeV/c. The results indicate that sizable effects are present at high xF and also persist into the hard-scattering region for KS0 and π+. A zero value of the analyzing power was observed for π− production.

Photon - gluon fusion analysis of charm photoproduction.

The Tagged Photon Spectrometer collaboration Anjos, J.C. ; Appel, J.A. ; Bean, A. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 65 (1990) 2503-2506, 1990.
Inspire Record 306050 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.19964

Results on the photoproduction of 10 000 fully reconstructed charmed particles from the 108 recorded triggers of Fermilab experiment E691 have been analyzed in the photon-gluon-fusion model. We find that the total cross section, its rise with energy, and the pT2 and xF distributions can be explained by a high mass for the charm quark (mc=1.74−0.18+0.13 GeV/c2) and a soft-gluon distribution [G(x)∼(1-x)gn, where ng=7.1±2.2].

Phys.Rev.C 41 (1990) 180-192, 1990.
Inspire Record 299986 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.26213

We have made the first systematic precision measurement of the deuteron-deuteron total cross sections at 12 incident momenta in the range of 1.5–4.0 GeV/c on a proton synchrotron. The data were obtained by means of the transmission method covering the momentum transfer squared range of 0.001 to 0.009 (GeV/c)2 at each momentum. Our data show no anomalous structure in the excitation function and are in good agreement with Glauber model calculations including the effect of the Fermi motion of the nucleons in the deuteron except at 1.5 GeV/c, where the datum is lower than the calculated value.

Multiplicity and angular distribution of charged pions emitted following anti-n annihilation on Fe at low-energy

Agnello, M. ; Iazzi, F. ; Minetti, B. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.A 516 (1990) 662-672, 1990.
Inspire Record 305661 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.36844

The mean multiplicity and the angular distribution of the charged pions produced in the n̄ annihilation on Fe in the range from 12 to 140 MeV is presented. The experimental technique and methods of analysis are described. A comparison with the p̄ results is performed, together with a discussion of some possible pion-nucleus interaction mechanisms in the above n̄ energy range.

Charged particle spectra from anti-proton annihilation at rest in A = 12 - 238 nuclei

Nucl.Phys.A 512 (1990) 669-683, 1990.
Inspire Record 303944 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.36859

Energy spectra of protons, deuterons and tritons from the annihilation of antiprotons stopped in 12 C, 40 Ca, 63 Cu, 92,98 Mo and 238 U have been measured with a Ge-detector telescope. Parameters related to the shape of the spectra were calculated and their dependence on target and ejectile mass number was determined. Yields per p̄ of directly emitted protons, deuterons and tritons and of evaporated protons were estimated.

Transverse momentum of J / psi produced in oxygen uranium collisions at 200-GeV per nucleon.

Phys.Lett.B 251 (1990) 465-471, 1990.
Inspire Record 306053 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29526

The study of the J ψ transverse momentum distribution in oxygen-uranium reactions at 200 GeV/nucleon shows that 〈 P T 〉 and 〈 P T 2 〉 increase with the transverse energy of the reaction. Muon pairs in the mass continuum do not exhibit the same behaviour. The comparison of the J ψ production rates in central and peripheral collisions shows a significant diminution for low P T central events.

Neutral kaon production in K+ p and pi+ p interactions at 250-GeV/c

The EHS/NA22 collaboration Ajinenko, I.V. ; Albert, L. ; Belokopytov, Yu. A. ; et al.
Z.Phys.C 46 (1990) 525-536, 1990.
Inspire Record 302184 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.15191

The inclusive production of neutral kaons is studied inK+p and π+p interactions at 250 GeV/c. Total and semi-inclusive cross sections and average kaon multiplicities are presented and compared with the data at lower energies. The longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions and their energy dependence are analyzed. The results are interpreted in the framework of recent parton models.

We report on a study of ρ0, ρ+, ω,\(\bar K^{*0} (892)\) andK*0 (892) inclusive production in π+p interactions at 250 GeV/c, for ρ+,\(\bar K^{*0} (892)\) for the first time in a π+p experiment. The data are compared withK+p data in the same experiment, with results of other experiments and with quark-parton models. Interesting differences are found between ρ+,0 and ω production.

Total cross-section for p + p ---> p + p + pi0 near threshold measured with the Indiana cooler

Meyer, H.O. ; Ross, M.A. ; Pollock, R.E. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 65 (1990) 2846-2849, 1990.
Inspire Record 305682 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.19936

The total cross section for the reaction pp→ppπ0 was measured at nine center-of-mass energies from 1.5 to 23 MeV above threshold. The experiment was carried out with the Indiana Cooler, a recently constructed storage ring. The experimental advantages of an electron-cooled proton beam were utilized. The data cover an energy range where only the lowest possible angular momentum state contributes in the exit channel. The measured energy dependence of the total cross section is not compatible with that predicted by models of s-wave pion production and rescattering.
