Pion spectra from the reaction p p ---> pi+- + anything at 28.5 gev

Sims, W.H. ; Hanlon, J. ; Salant, E.O. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.B 41 (1972) 317-335, 1972.
Inspire Record 75159 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.8021

The single-particle inclusive pion spectrum from the reaction p + p → π ± + anything at 28.5 GeV is presented in both tabular and graphical form. The data are from exposures in the BNL 203 cm bubble chamber. The emphasis of this paper is on exhibiting the single-particle spectra in sufficient detail so that the data will be useful to those interested in testing models and developing new concepts.

DECAY OF B MESONS INTO CHARGED AND NEUTRAL KAONS

The CLEO collaboration Brody, A. ; Chen, A. ; Goldberg, M. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 48 (1982) 1070-1074, 1982.
Inspire Record 180612 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.27749

Data on inclusive kaon production in e+e− annihilations at energies in the vicinity of the ϒ(4S) resonance are presented. A clear excess of kaons is observed on the ϒ(4S) compared to the continuum. Under the assumption that the ϒ(4S) decays into BB¯, a total of 3.38±0.34±0.68 kaons per ϒ(4S) decay is found. In the context of the standard B-decay model this leads to a value for (b→c)(b→all) of 1.09±0.33±0.13.

Observation of New Structure in the e+ e- Annihilation Cross-Section Above B anti-B Threshold

The CLEO collaboration Besson, D. ; Green, J. ; Namjoshi, R. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 54 (1985) 381, 1985.
Inspire Record 205667 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.20359

Measurements of the e+e− cross section above BB¯ threshold are reported. Structures are observed which could be the ϒ(5S) and ϒ(6S) resonances. The masses and widths are given and compared with various potential-model predictions. Average charged multiplicities and inclusive lepton yields are also presented.

Limit on the B ---> u Coupling from Semileptonic B Decay

The CLEO collaboration Chen, A. ; Goldberg, M. ; Horwitz, N. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 52 (1984) 1084, 1984.
Inspire Record 199380 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.20474

We have used the momentum spectrum of leptons produced in semileptonic B-meson decays to set a 90%-confidence-level upper limit on Γ(b→ulν)Γ(b→clν) of 4%. We also measure the semileptonic branching fractions of the B meson to be (12.0±0.7±0.5)% for electrons and (10.8±0.6±1.0)% for muons.

Evidence for the F Meson at 1970-MeV

Phys.Rev.Lett. 51 (1983) 634, 1983.
Inspire Record 190325 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.20490

Evidence is presented for a narrow meson resonance of mass 1970±5±5 MeV produced in continuum e+e− annihilations at s of 10.5 GeV, and decaying into a ϕ and a charged π.

The D0 Spectrum From $B$ Meson Decay

The CLEO collaboration Green, J. ; Hicks, R.G. ; Sannes, F. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 51 (1983) 347, 1983.
Inspire Record 190327 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.20493

The inclusive branching fraction for B-meson decay into D0 mesons and the momentum spectrum of the D0's have been measured. 0.8±0.2±0.2 D0 per B decay was found. The shape of the spectrum suggests an interesting picture of B-meson decay.
