Results on multiplicities, topological cross sections, total particle production cross sections, and correlations between charged particle and π 0 production are presented for pp interactions at 12 and 24 GeV/ c incident laboratory momentum. Inclusive production of π ± , K s 0 , p , Λ, Σ ± and Λ is studied; particle spectra are shown in single and double differential form and are compared, in different kinematic regions, with data obtained at other incident momenta and with other beam particles.

We present evidence for the decay A20→ωπ+π0 with a branching ratio Γ(A2→ωππ)Γ(A2→ρπ)=0.28±0.09 and for the decay ω(1675)→ωπ+π− with a branching ratio Γ(ω(1975)→ωπ+π−)Γ(ω(1675)→ρπ)=0.47±0.18. Evidence is given for an intermediate B(1235)π state in the ω(1675) decay.

The differential scattering cross section is presented for p¯p elastic scattering at an incident laboratory momentum of 2.33 GeV/c based upon 11 758 events. The experiment was performed at the Brookhaven National Laboratory using the 31-inch hydrogen bubble chamber and an electrostatically separated beam. The attempts to fit limited regions of the data are presented for different parametrizations. The parametrization which corresponds to two coherent interfering exponentials successfully reproduces a very large t region for the scattering.

Results are reported based on a study of π − p interactions at 147 GeV/ c in the FERMILAB 30-inch Proportional Wire Hybrid Bubble Chamber System. We have measured the topological cross sections and separated two-prong elastic and inelastic channels. In addition, we have extracted leading particle cross sections using the increased momentum resolution of the downstream proportional wire chambers. We have compared our results with experiments and predictions of a simple fragmentation hyphothesis.

By combining new results obtained at C.M. energies of 1.2 and 1.3 GeV with previous data obtained at lower energies from the e + e − annihilation process e + e − → π + π − π o π o , we get an indication in favour of the existence of a new vector meson of the ϱ type, ϱ' (1250), the first daughter of the ϱ in the predictions of the Veneziano model. Further results on the annihilation process e + e − → π (1600) → π + π − π + π − are also presented.
NOTE THAT ABOVE 1.3 GEV, THE CROSS SECTION VALUES ARE CRITICALLY DEPENDENT ON THE ASSUMPTION OF A PHASE SPACE DISTRIBUTION FOR THE FINAL STATE. NOTE ALSO THAT THE RHOPRIME(1600)0 --> RHO EPSILON(700) --> PI+ PI- PI0 PI0 RESONANT CONTRIBUTION HAS BEEN SUBTRACTED OUT. THIS CORRECTION IS GREATEST (25 PCT) AT 1.5 GEV.
Backward production of ϱ 0 and f 0 mesons in π + n interactions at 6 GeV/ c is presented. Total and differential cross sections are reported along with spin density matrix elements.

Data have been taken at the φ energy with the same large solid angle detector which has been used for the measurement of the ϱ and ω production by e + e − annihilations. From the φ → K o L K o S π + φ − excitation curve we have deduced the φ width Γ φ = (3.81 ± 0.37) MeV and the cross-section σ e + e − → K o L K o S = (1.48±0.08±0.12) μ b. (the quoted errors are respectively statistical and systematical.)

FITTED CROSS SECTION AT PHI PEAK, RADIATIVELY CORRECTED.
K + p elastic scattering has been measured over nearly the whole angular range at an incident momentum of 10 GeV/ c . The differential cross-section is found to decrease smoothly in the forward direction to - t ≈ 2 (GeV/ c ) 2 , where there is a change in slope, followed by a further decrease to - t ≈ 6 (GeV/ c ) 2 . Around 90° c.m. the cross-section is approximately 1 nb/(GeV/ c ) 2 , which is more than two orders of magnitude lower than at 5 GeV/ c . The backward peak has no structure.
THESE DATA ARE REPORTED MORE FULLY IN C. BAGLIN ET AL., NP B98, 365 (1975).

TWO EVENTS SEEN WITH MASSES 800 +- 90 MEV AND 1400 +- 90 MEV. THE FIRST WHEN INTERPRETED AS ETAPRIME PRODUCTION GIVES A WIDTH OF 11, +15, -8 KEV FOR ETAPRIME --> 2GAMMA USING THE EQUIVALENT PHOTON APPROXIMATION.
In this note we report the results obtained in a single-photoproduction experiment on neutrons in deuterium, with an experimental apparatus made of scintillation counters, spark chambers and a magnetic spectrometer; the explored energy region is one around the second resonance, that is (500÷900) MeV indicent γ-ray energy. We briefly describe the present situation of the phenomenological analysis of the single photoproduction in the second resonance region and compare the results of an analysis made by us with the results obtained by other authors; in particular the e.m. coupling of theP11 isobaric state found by us is large, in accordance with the results of some other authors.
