Data are given for the polarization parameter and for the differential cross section in pp elastic scattering at 200 GeV/ c , in the range 0.5 ⪕−t ⪕ 4.0 GeV 2 . The polarization changes sign in the dip region, as already observed at 150 GeV/ c .

The reaction p n → p p π − at 2.98 GeV/ c is studied with high statistics. The dominant Δ −− production is found in the framework of the additive quark model to proceed mainly through unnatural parity exchange in the t -channel. A detailed comparison with the reaction K − p → K ∗0 n confirms, for the dominant part of the cross section, the predictions of the quark model.

We present results for the total cross section of e + e − annihilation into two hadrons at 1.6 GeV: σ ππ = σ KK = (1.8 ± 1.1) × 10 -33 cm 2 .From these values we obtain the time-like electromagnetic form factors these mesons: | F π | 2 = 0.24 ± 0.14 and | F K | 2 = 0.46 ± 0.26.

The annihilation\(\bar pn\) → π−π0 has been studied in a D2 bubble chamber at several beam momenta between 1.0 and 1.6 GeV/c. The cross-section has been measured to be (110±15) μb at an average beam momentum of 1.3 GeV/c. The study of the angular distribution shows the presence of anL = 3 wave.
NO CORRECTIONS APPLIED FOR SPECTATOR PROTON MOMENTUM CUT NOR FOR ANY RESCATTERING IN DEUTERIUM NUCLEI.
