We present results on flux-normalized neutrino and antineutrino cross sections near y=0 from data obtained in the Fermilab narrow-band beam. We conclude that values of σ0=dσdy|y=0 are consistent with rising linearly with energy over the range 45<~Eν<~20.5 GeV. The separate averages of ν and ν¯, each measured to 4%, are equal to well within the errors. The best fit for the combined data gives σ0E=(0.719±0.035)×10−38 cm2/GeV at an average Eν of 100 GeV.

The E288 collaboration Herb, S.W. ; Hom, D.C. ; Lederman, L.M. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 39 (1977) 252-255, 1977.

Inclusive phi Production in pi- p Interactions at 16-GeV/c

The Bari-Bonn-CERN-Daresbury-Glasgow-Liverpool-Milan-Vienna collaboration Ghidini, B. ; Navach, F. ; Palano, A. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 68 (1977) 186, 1977.
Inspire Record 119248 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.48929

Inclusive φ production is studied in π − p collisions at 16 GeV/ c . The φ cross section for Feynman variable x φ > 0.2 is found to be (15.5 ± 3.6) μb. This leads to an extrapolated cross section of (29.9 ± 7.0) μb for x φ > 0.0. Fitting the momentum transfer squared distribution of the φ to the form e −bp 2 T gives an average slope of b = (2.4 ± 0.3) (GeV/ c −2 for x φ > 0.5.

Production of $\psi$ (3100) and $\psi^{\prime}$ (3700) in p-Be Collisions at 400 GeV

Snyder, H.D. ; Hom, D.C. ; Lederman, L.M. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 36 (1976) 1415, 1976.
Inspire Record 108462 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.21117

We report preliminary results on the production of electron-positron pairs in the mass range 2.5 to 4 GeV in 400-GeV p-Be interactions. Production cross sections of the ψ(3100) near x=0 as a function of pt, x, and the decay angle are presented and implications of these new data for single direct leptons are discussed. A ψ′(3700) signal is observed at a level corresponding to σ(ψ′)σ(ψ)=(10±3)%.

Measurement of sigma(tot) in proton proton scattering in pure spin states

Parker, E.F. ; Ratner, L.G. ; Brown, B.C. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 31 (1973) 783-786, 1973.
Inspire Record 83779 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.21350

An experiment was done using the new accelerated polarized proton beam at the Argonne National Laboratory zero-gradient synchrotron and a polarized proton target. The total cross section for proton-proton scattering at 3.5 GeV/c was measured in the spin states ↑↑ and ↑↓ perpendicular to the beam direction. The two cross sections were found to be equal within the experimental error of ±5%.

We have measured the mean charged multiplicity n¯CH as a function of transverse momentum p⊥ of the forward proton in the reaction p+p→p+MM for five intervals of missing mass (MM) using our Multiparticle Argo Spectrometer System. We observe an increase of n¯CH for p⊥>1 GeV/c.
