Reactions p p → p p and p p → n n were studied at the kinetic energy 230 MeV of incident p by using bubble chamber films. Total cross sections for both of the reactions were found to be 51.2 ± 1.6 mb and 9.1 ± 0.6 mb, respectively. Differential cross sections are well explained by the phenomenological theory given by Bryan and Phillips.

The reactions $k^{+}d \to k^{+}d, k^{+}d \to k^{+}pn$ and $k^{+}d \to k^{0}pp$ at 3 Gev/$c$ with an investigation of $k^+n$ scattering

Inspire Record 75078 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.32864

As a partial result of an analysis of K + d interactions at 3 GeV/ c produced in the 81 cm Saclay bubble chamber, we present data on K + differential cross sections for the following reactions: K + d → K + d, K + d → K + pn, K + d → K 0 pp . A set of parameters describing the K + n elastic scattering has been obtained from a simulataneous fit, based on the Glauber model. to the three experimental differential cross sections and to the K + d total cross section, giving α n = 1.7 ± 0.5 GeV −2 for the slope α n of the differential cross section, and ρ n = −0.16 ± 0.3 for the ratio of the real to the imaginary part of the forward scattering amplitude. The D-wave function of the deuteron has been found to give a non-negligible contribution to the coherent reaction.

Production of the k- pi+ pi- n final state in k- d interactions at 5.5 gev/c

Davis, R. ; Ammar, R. ; Kropac, W. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.B 44 (1972) 45-82, 1972.
Inspire Record 75079 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.32866

The reaction K − d → K − π + π − n p s was studied in a bubble chamber experiment. The cross section was measured to be 1.3 ± 0.2 mb. The final state is dominated by K ∗0 (890) , K ∗0 (1420) and Δ − (1236) production. Partial cross sections, differential cross sections and decay angular distributions of the K ∗0 (890) δ − (1236) final state were found to give good agreement with the predictions of Białas and Zalewski obtained from the quark model. The final state K − π + Δ − (1236) is analyzed by use of the Van Hove plot.

Isobar production and diffraction dissociation in p n ---> p p pi- at 7.0 gev/c

Nucl.Phys.B 40 (1972) 77-97, 1972.
Inspire Record 75249 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.32894

The reaction pn → pp π − at 7.0 GeV/ c is studied in a pd experiment. Observations on isobar production and low-mass enhancement are reported. The I = 1 2 isobars and the low-mass enhancement produced at the neutron vertex are discussed in terms of the diffraction dissociation plus duality model.

Study of four-prong events in pi+ p interactions at 3.5 gev/c

Nucl.Phys.B 38 (1972) 20-36, 1972.
Inspire Record 75333 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.32958

The non-strange four-prong events of π + p interactions at 3.5 GeV/ c are studied. Cross sections are calculated for all resonance productions in the channels π + p → p π + π + π − ( σ T = 3.18 ± 0.13 mb) and π + p → p π + π + π − π o ( σ T = 4.03 ± 0.16 mb). The dominant two body reactions Δ ++ ϱ o and Δ ++ ω o are investigated in detail, and production and decay distributions are presented as well as joint decay density matrix elements and joint correlation terms. The Δ ++ ϱ o reaction is compared to predictions of OPE with absorption and the Δ ++ ω o is compared to rho-exchange with sharp cutoff.

Measurements of spin rotation parameters in pion-nucleon elastic scattering at 6 gev/c and at 16 gev/c

Phys.Lett.B 40 (1972) 277-280, 1972.
Inspire Record 75722 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.28284

The spin rotation parameter R has been measured at CERN, for π ± p at 6 GeV c and for π − p at 16 GeV c , with t ranging from −0.19 to −0.51 ( GeV c ) 2 . The parameter A was measured for π − p at 6 GeV c in the interval between t =−0.19 and minus;0.41 ( GeV c ) 2 . The averaged values are the following; R (+6) =−0.08±0.04, R (−6) =−0.23±0.05 and R (−16) =−0.23±0.05. The values obtained for A are close to +1.

Dip structures in pi+ p ---> rho+ p at 1.55-1.84 gev/c

Results of a high-statistics study of π++p→ρ++p at 1.55-1.84 GeVc are consistent with dominance of π and ω exchange close to threshold. A pronounced dip in ρ00sdσdt at −t≃0.4 GeV2 may be attributed to pion exchange with strong absorption.

Photoproduction of ϱ0 and ω in γd interactions at 4.3 GeV

Eisenberg, Y. ; Haber, B. ; Kogan, E. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.B 42 (1972) 349-368, 1972.
Inspire Record 67692 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.69930

Coherent photoproduction of ϱ 0 and ω at E γ = 4.3 GeV is observed. The ratios ϱ 0 d/ ω d and ϱ 0 d/ ϱ 0 p are discussed and compared with theoretical predictions. By comparing our data with total photoabsorption cross sections we determine the direct vector meson-photon coupling to be γ ϱ 2 /4 π = 0.29 ± 0.06. With this value we find the VDM relations between photoproduction and Compton scattering well satisfied.
