The differential elastic p−p scattering cross section was measured at 6 GeV/c at the Argonne Zero Gradient Synchrotron in the range P⊥2=0.60−1.0 (GeV/c)2 using a 65% polarized target and a 75% polarized proton beam of intensity 3 × 109 protons/pulse. The polarization of the recoil proton was simultaneously measured with a well calibrated carbon-target polarimeter. All three polarizations were measured perpendicular to the horizontal scattering plane. Our results indicate that P and T invariance are both obeyed to good precision even at our largest P⊥2. Parity invariance implies that the eight single-flip transversity cross sections are zero, so our data gives the magnitudes of the eight remaining pure spin cross sections where all spins are measured. We find that the four double-flip transversity cross sections are nonzero.

THE FIVE INDEPENDENT PURE FOUR-SPIN CROSS SECTIONS AS DERIVED FROM THE EIGHT MEASURED THREE-SPIN CROSS SECTIONS ASSUMING P AND T INVARIANCE. THE ABSOLUTE DIFFERENTIAL CROSS SECTION VALUES ASSUME THAT THE SPIN-AVERAGED D(SIG)/DT IS 2.25, 1.17, 0.365 AND 0.167 MB/GEV**2 FOR EACH VALUE OF PT**2 RESPECTIVELY.
WOLFENSTEIN PARAMETERS. POL(NAME=A) IS (N000) OR (0N00), THE ANALYZING POWER AVERAGED OVER TARGET OR BEAM POLARIZATION. POL(NAME=P) IS (00N0), THE POLARIZATION PARAMETER. TIME-REVERSAL INVARIANCE REQUIRES THAT P = A. POL.POL(NAME=CNN) IS (NN00) USING T-INVARIANCE. POL.POL(NAME=DNN) IS (0N0N). POL.POL(NAME=KNN) IS (N00N). POL.POL(NAME=C3N) IS A COMPONENT OF THE TRIPLE SPIN CORRELATION TENSOR. PARITY INVARIANCE REQUIRES THAT C3N = P.
Data are presented from a high statistics bubble chamber experiment to K − p interactions over the c.m. energy range 1720 to 1796 MeV. Channel cross sections, differential cross sections and, where appropriate, polarisation distributions have been obtained for the final states K − p , K 0 n , π 0 Λ and π ± Σ ∓ . These data are compared with those from previously published experiments and with the predictions from the RL-IC 77 partial-wave amplitudes for each of these channels.

EXTRAPOLATED FORWARD AND BACKWARD DIFFERENTIAL CROSS SECTIONS.
K − p reactions have been studied at 13 different incident momenta between 1138 and 1434 MeV/ c . This interval corresponds to a mass of the K − p system varying from 1858 to 1993 MeV. About 300 000 photographs were taken in the 81 cm Saclay hydrogen bubble chamber exposed to a separated K − beam at the CERN proton-synchrotron. A total of about 44 000 events were analyzed, from which partial and differential cross sections were determined. Polarizations were obtained for the two-body reactions where the decay of the Λ or Σ hyperon allowed their measurement. Data for the two-body channels are presented here as well as for the main quasi-two-body reactions.
PARTIAL CROSS SECTIONS. DATA AT 1.305 TO 1.434 GEV/C FOR FINAL STATES K- P, K- P PI0 AND K- N PI+ COME FROM THE HAIFA GROUP, S. DADO ET AL.

Data are given for the polarization parameter and for the differential cross section in pp elastic scattering at 200 GeV/ c , in the range 0.5 ⪕−t ⪕ 4.0 GeV 2 . The polarization changes sign in the dip region, as already observed at 150 GeV/ c .

The polarization parameter in pp elastic scattering at 150 GeV/ c , and in the momentum transfer interval 0.4 ⩽ − t ⩽ 3.0 GeV 2 , has been measured in an MWPC and scintillation counter experiment at the CERN SPS using a polarized proton target. The polarization is decreasing steadily from zero to ≈ − 10% in the range 0.4 < − t < 1.3 GeV 2 ; for higher | t | the data suggests a change of sign. Results are also given for the differential cross section, which exhibits a small dip at − t = (1.46 ± 0.01) GeV.
