The inclusive π0 and γ production is studied in a\(\bar PP\) experiment at 32.1 GeV/c performed in the Mirabelle bubble chamber with a sensitivity of ∼2.7 events/μb. Total and topological π0 cross sections are presented. The π0 and γ longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions are obtained and compared with\(\bar PP\) data at 22.4 GeV/c andK ± P data at 32.1 GeV/c. The inclusive π0 distributions are also compared to those obtained for charged pions in the same experiment.

Results are presented on the inclusive photoproduction of λ and λ for incident photon energies between 25 and 70 GeV. The slope parameter of the p T 2 distribution is found to be 2.83±0.1 GeV −2 for λ and 3.28±0.25 GeV −2 for λ . The x F distributions, measured in the range −0.2 to 0.7, show that while λ are produced centrally, λ production extends to more negative values of x F ; the shapes show no energy dependence and are similar to those in pion-induced reactions. The polarization of the produced λ is less than 10%. The results are discussed in terms of vector dominance and quark fusion models.

The inclusiveKn, ¶,and\(\bar \Lambda\) production has been studied in a\(\bar pp\) experiment performed in the Mirabelle bubble chamber at an incident beam momentum of 32.1 GeV/c. Total and semi-inclusive cross sections, longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions and spin density matrix elements of theK*+(892) andK*0(892) produced in the inclusive reactionsK+p→K*+(892)+X andK+p→K*0(892)+X at 32 GeV/c are studied in detail. The production of K S 0 , Λ and Λ in π − p ractions at 16 GeV/ c is investigated. Cross sections for single strange particles are determined, both inclusively and as functions of the charged multiplicity. Some characteristics of the multiplicity distributions are also discussed. Inclusive distributions are studied as a function of the longitudinal and transverse variables of V 0 and the missing mass squared. The average charged multiplicities of the systems recoiling against the Λ and K S 0 are presented.
