Phys.Lett.B 314 (1993) 284-288, 1993.
Inspire Record 1389619 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.28840

The 4 He( γ ,p) 3 H reaction cross section has been measured with tagged photons of energy 81–158 MeV. Protons were detected over the angular range 55°–125°. The scaling of the data as a function of momentum mismatch has been examined for two reaction models, the modified quasideuteron mechanism and quasifree knockout. Both models show clear scaling behaviour but comparison of the predicted and measured scaling function shapes favours the modified quasideuteron mechanism at momenta up to ≈500 MeV/ c .

Phys.Lett.B 27 (1968) 665-668, 1968.
Inspire Record 1389653 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29197

In a study of K + p interactions at 12.7 GeV/ c we have carried out a search for meson resonances having any one of the following properties: (a) a strangeness of S =2, (b) S =1 and isotopic spin of I= 3 2 , or (c) S =1, I= 1 2 and decaying into an antihyperon ( Y ) and a nucleon (N).

Measurements of total cross sections for very slow neutrons with velocities from 100 m/sec to 5 m/sec

Steyerl, A. ;
Phys.Lett.B 29 (1969) 33-35, 1969.
Inspire Record 1389650 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.28969

Very cold neutrons from 60 μeV to 0.1 μeV were obtained through a vertical total-reflecting neutron guide tube. Total cross sections measured by time-of-flight technique for gold and aluminium were found to obey the 1 ν law.

Scattering of positrons and electrons from protons

Bartel, W. ; Dudelzak, B. ; Krehbiel, H. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 25 (1967) 242-245, 1967.
Inspire Record 1389651 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29449

The ration R = σ(e + = p)/σ(e − + p) of the elastic scattering cross section of positrons and electrons on protons was measured at momentum transfers of 11.66 fm −2 and 35.1 fm −2 . The results are consistent with R = 1.

$A_y$ in n-d elastic scattering: a test for three-nucleon calculations

Brogli-Gysin, C. ; Campbell, J. ; Haffter, P. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 250 (1990) 11-14, 1990.
Inspire Record 1389638 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29548

We have measured the analyzing power A y in n-d elastic scattering at 67.0 MeV. The experiment was based on the detection of recoil deuterons, allowing for a precise measurement of the backward angular range. The results are in good agreement with recent three-nucleon calculations which are based on the Paris and Bonn NN potentials.

$K^- p$ elastic scattering at 2.24 GeV/c

Dickinson, M. ; Miyashita, S. ; Libby, L.Marshall ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 24 (1967) 596-598, 1967.
Inspire Record 1389623 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29569

The differential elastic scattering cross section for 2.24 GeV/ c K − p collisions has been measured in film from the Brookhaven 20″ bubble chamber. The total elastic cross section is found to be 6.2 ± 0.7 mb. The exponential dependence on square of the momentum t in (GeV/ c ) 2 is fitted by ( d σ d Ω elastic = (12.4 ± 1.0 mb/sr) exp (7.81 ± 0.25)t . A A fit to a black disc model requires a radius of 0.95 ± 0.05 fm.

The angular distribution of backward elastically scattered pions at 3.55 GeV/c

Baker, W.F. ; Carlson, P.J. ; Chabaud, V. ; et al.
Phys.Lett. 23 (1966) 605-609, 1966.
Inspire Record 1389621 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29776

The elastic scattering of 3.55 GeV/ c π + and π − mesons by protons was measured at centre-of-mass angles between 165° and 177°. The angular distributions for 864 events show a steeply rising backward peak for π + p, while the shape is less clear for π − p.

Measurements of 1 GeV proton total scattering cross section on H, He, $^6$Li, C, O and Pb targets

Igo, G.J. ; Friedes, J.L. ; Palevsky, H. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.B 3 (1967) 181-187, 1967.
Inspire Record 1389662 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.33327

Total cross sections have been measured for H, He, 6 Li, C, O and Pb targets for 1 GeV incident energy protons. From the differential elastic scattering data published elsewhere, we also obtain the total elastic scattering and reaction cross sections for H, He, C and O. When our data are combined with other measurements in the same energy region, it is found that the total and reaction cross sections can be fit by the formulae σ T = 47 A 0.82 and σ R = 42 A 0.67 mb. It is also observed that the total and reaction cross sections for negative pions on nuclei can also be fit with these same A -dependencies.

Phys.Lett. 21 (1966) 465-467, 1966.
Inspire Record 1389641 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29926

The momentum spectrum of 4 He produced at 0 o lab. by deuteron collisions at 1.69 GeV/ c , has been measured to determine possible π-π resonances of low effective mass values. No significant deviations from phase space are found. The total cross sections for the reaction d + d → 4 He + 2π is found to be (0.6±0.2) × × 10 −30 cm 2 .
