The charge asymmetry in the production of top quark and antiquark pairs is measured in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV. The data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.6 inverse femtobarns, were collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Events with a single isolated electron or muon, and four or more jets, at least one of which is likely to have originated from hadronization of a bottom quark, are selected. A template technique is used to measure the asymmetry in the distribution of differences in the top quark and antiquark absolute rapidities. The measured asymmetry is A[c,y] = [0.33 +/- 0.26 (stat) +/- 0.33 (syst)]%, which is the most precise result to date. The results are compared to calculations based on the standard model and on several beyond-the-standard-model scenarios.
The measured $t\bar{t}$ production asymmetry $A_c^y$.
The c .m.s. angular distributions of protons and 1r mesons emitted in emulsions in protonproton collisions were measured. The proton angular distribution is symmetric and possesses a pronounced anisotropy. The n-meson distribution is symmetric and more isotropic. The angular dependence of the total energy in the c .m .s. has been determined for protons. It is shown that, on the average, protons expend about 74% of their energy in the c.m.s. on meson production. Within the limits of experimental error, the mean values of the transverse momentum and the total energy in the c .m.s. are the same for various multiplicities.

An analysis was made of 355 interactions between 1r- mesons and nucleons. The momentum and angular distributions of the secondary charged particles were measured. Information on 1r0 mesons produced in the interactions has been obtained. The experimental data are compared with the statistical theory. The results suggest that peripheral interactions may exist. In events of low multiplicity (two-prong cases) "one-meson" peripheral interactions play an important role, while in events of large multiplicity an important role is played by interactions not of the one-meson type, among which also central collisions are possible.

The total cross sections for interactions of K+ and 1r+ mesons with protons were measured. The following values were obtained: 21.3 ± 4.6 mb and 21 ± 4.3 mb for 4.75 ± 0.15 Bev/c and 3.7 ± 0.1 Bev/c K+ mesons, respectively; the corresponding values for 1r+ mesons of the same momenta were 33.3 ± 1.3mb and 30 ± 1.2mb. Data on the cross sections for inelastic collisions of K+ and 1r+ mesons with various nuclei have also been obtained.

The angular distribution of 24 7 ± 10 Mev gamma rays produced in the synchrotron of the Lebedev Physics Institute, which were scattered elastically on hydrogen, has been investigated. Differential cross sections were obtained for c.m. scattering angles of 148, 132, 108, 93, 70, and 55°. The experimental results are compared with calculations based on onedimensional dispersion relations with an additional contribution from a single-meson intermediate state taken into account.

The comparison of experimental multiplicity distributions for the processes of inelastic anti pp interaction and antiproton diffraction dissociation at 22.4 GeV/c with leading particles removed from event with e+e- annihilation into hadron is presented. The observed similarity of these processes corresponds to the dual parton model predictions

The experimental energy, angular and isotopic distributions for hydrogen and helium nuclei produced in 6.7 GeV deuteron interactions with 58Ni and 64Ni isotopes are presented. The data obtained by using the multichannel E-E semiconductor spectrometer in the 3-50 MeV energy range. Energy spectra are very close to Maxwell distribution, angular distributions are isotropic, isotopic ratios do not depend on emission angle of fragments but depend on a projectile mass

A more accurate value is obtained for the differential cross section for pp scattering at 8.35 BeV by measurement in photographic emulsions. It is found that the cross section is greater than cited in previous communications [ 3 - 5 ] in a large range of angles. The data are analyzed on the basis of the Regge pole technique and compared with those of other experiments. The total pp elastic scattering cross section is found to be 10.8 :1: 0.8 mb; the mean square interaction radius is (1.07 :1: 0.08) F.
