We have studied antiproton-deuteron elastic scattering between 1.60 and 2.00 GeV/c incident momenta. The differential cross sections may be characterized by a very steep forward peak (with b∼43 GeV−2) and a prominent break near −t∼0.2 GeV2. The results are used to test the validity of Glauber's multiple-scattering theory. Within the experimental range of measurements (−t between 0.028 and 0.46 GeV2), the theory provides a good qualitative description of the data.

Total and differential elastic cross-section data are presented at eight incident π+ momenta: 1.28, 1.34, 1.40, 1.43, 1.55, 1.68, 1.77, and 1.84 GeVc. These data were obtained from a hydrogen-bubble-chamber exposure at the Bevatron, and contain more than 65 000 events. This represents more than 1½ times the world's data hitherto available in this energy region.

Elastic scattering of positive pions on polarized protons between 0.82 and 2.74 gev/c

Nucl.Phys.B 25 (1970) 9-48, 1971.
Inspire Record 68844 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.7102

Polarization and differential cross-section data for elastic scattering of positive pions on protons between 0.82 and 2.74 GeV/ c are presented. A dip in the polarization, at constant u ≈ −0.65 GeV 2 , is observed. The data are compared with published phase-shift analyses.

Photoproduction of k+ lambda and k+ sigma0 in hydrogen between 1.19 and 1.68 gev

Nucl.Phys.B 26 (1971) 121-133, 1971.
Inspire Record 68818 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.33752

New measurements on the reactionsγp→K + Λ and γp→K + Σ o have been performed at the DESY synchrotron at c.m. angles around 90° and photon lab. energies from 1.19 to 1.68 GeV. The produced K + mesons were analyzed by a magnet spectrometer, two thresholdCˇerenkov counters and a time-of-flight measurement. The obtained differential cross-section data show a smooth energy behaviour for the K + Λ production whereas for theK + Σ o production the data trace out a bump at a c.m. energy W ≈ 1.9GeV.

A study of k pi pi states produced in 10 gev/c k+ p interactions

Nucl.Phys.B 25 (1970) 49-74, 1971.
Inspire Record 68842 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.33832

We present an analysis of the K ππ system produced in 10 GeV/ c K + p interactions. We show that the low-mass enchancement between 1.2 and 1.4 GeV/ c 2 on the K ππ mass spectrum is predominantly 1 + throughout, give the relative amplitudes for the decay of this system into K ∗ (890) π and K ρ , and offer new evidence for the presence of two 1 + resonances in this mass region.

We have measured large-angle electron-positron pairs from the reaction γ +Be → Be+e + +e − in the e + e − invariant-mass region of 610 < m < 850 MeV/ c 2 . The phase of the photoproduction amplitude of the ϱ-meson at 4.1 – 6.1 GeV was found to deviate from pure imaginary by 11.8° ± 4.4° which corresponds to a ratio of the real to imaginary ϱ-nucleon amplitude of β = −0.2 ± 0.1.
