New experimental results on the reactions K L 0 p→K S 0 p, Λπ + , Σ 0 π + andΛπ + π 0 at c.m. energies between 1.54 and 1.71 GeV are presented. This experiment has a statistical accuracy comparable with or greater than corresponding K − p and K − d experiments in the same energy range and a comparison with the data from these different types of experiments has been made. A search has been made for narrow states with masses in the region of 1.58 GeV.

K L 0 p interactions were studied in the CERN 2m H 2 bubble chamber in the c.m. energy range 1490–1700 MeV. The experimental details are described. Results are presented on the final states Λπ + , Σ 0 π + and Λπ + π 0 . The effect of these data on a recent partial-wave analysis of the two-body states is examined.

KL --> 3PI USED TO MEASURE ABSOLUTE CROSS SECTIONS AT 530 MEV/C.
Full angular distributions of the differential cross-section dσ/dμ and of the analysing power A y in p p elastic scattering have been measured at 697 MeV/ c . The results of A y are compared with the predictions of various theoretical models.

Legendre Polynomials from fit to angular distribution (LEG(L=0)=3.59 +- 0.02).
Results on the channels K − p → Λ 0 η 0 , Λ 0 π 0 , Σ 0 π 0 , Λ 0 π 0 π 0 and Σ 0 π 0 π 0 are obtained in a K − p formation experiment using 1 million photographs taken in a heavy liquid bubble chamber filled with a CF 3 BrC 3 H 8 mixture. The results are compared with hydrogen bubble chamber (HBC) experiments and with experiments having full or partial gamma-ray detection. Our Λ 0 π 0 and Λ 0 + neutral cross section agree with HBC results. Our Σ 0 π 0 cross section does not exhibit a bump at 1670 MeV as previously seen in HBC experiments. Our Λ 0 π 0 π 0 data are dominated by a Σ (1385) π 0 production. Our Σ 0 π 0 π 0 data is consistent with the presence of some Σ (1405) π 0 production.

The angular distribution and polarization for the reaction K − n→ π − Λ have been measured in the c.m.s. energy range 1750 MeV to 2000 MeV by means of a bubble chamber experiment, producing on average 500 events of this type per 10 MeV energy interval. The data are compared with the predictions of a recent partial-wave analysis of this reaction.
LEGENDRE POLYNOMIAL COEFFICIENTS FOR DIFFERENTIAL CROSS SECTION.
LEGENDRE POLYNOMIAL COEFFICIENTS FOR POLARIZATION.
New data on differential cross sections and polarisation are presented at nine incident momenta up to 1334 MeV/ c . An energy-dependent phase-shift analysis has been made and resonance parameters are given.

New bubble chamber data on the reactions K − n → π 0 Σ 0 in the c.m. energy range 1750–2200 MeV are presented and are compared with the predictions of the most recent partial-wave analysis of the reaction K N → πΣ . The comparison stresses the need for data involving a single value of isotopic spin in the study of this reaction. An analysis of the new data yields two satisfactory solutions involving only well established resonances.

FERMI MOTION OF NEUTRON USED TO EXTRACT ENERGY DEPENDENCE.
NORMALIZED LEGENDRE COEFFICIENTS OF CROSS SECTION ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION.
The reactions K L o p→K S o p, π + Λ , π + Σ o have been measured for center-of-mass energies from 1540 to 1610 MeV. Channel cross sections and coefficients of the Legendre polynomial expansion of the differential cross sections and hyperon polarizations are presented. We see no evidence in the πΛ channel for the suggested 3 2 − resonance at 1580 MeV. The cross section for the K S o p channel shows an energy dependence which is not predicted by the existing phase shift solutions based on charged kaon data.

Data at two additional π+ momenta (1.28 and 1.41 GeVc) in the reaction π+p→Σ+K+ are presented. Charge independence is tested over the c.m. energy range 1.820 to 2.090 GeV; we used our data for the Σ+K+ channel and published data for the π−p→Σ0K0 and Σ−K+ channels.

We present the analysis of 64 000 K−p→Σ−π+ and 89 000 K−p→Σ+π− events obtained with the Berkeley 25-in. hydrogen bubble chamber. Total cross sections and Legendre-polynomial expansion coefficients describing the differential cross sections and polarizations are presented in 10-MeV/c momentum intervals extending from 220 to 470 MeV/c. This paper completes the series devoted to all K−p final states in this momentum range.
