In this paper the main experimental results on some significant physical quantities obtained in He−Li collisions at 4.5A GeV/c are presented. The experiments have been performed at the Syncrophasotron from JINR Dubna, in the frame of the SKM 200 Collaboration.

We present a systematic analysis on the helium projectile fragments produced from 10.6 A GeV197Auemulsion interactions in an experiment conducted at the Brookhaven AGS. Total charge changing and partial production cross-sections are measured experimentally on the basis of helium multiplicity. The multiplicity distribution of helium fragments which are produced collectively obey a KNO scaling. The transverse momentum distribution of these particles indicates that they are produced from two different independent sources.

The transverse-momentum spectra of lambdas (Λ0, Λ¯0) produced in the central region has been measured in p¯p collisions at s=1.8 TeV at the Fermilab Collider. We find that the average transverse momentum of the lambdas increases more rapidly with center-of-mass energy than that of charged particles, and the ratio of lambdas to charged particles increases as a function of center-of-mass energy.

The momentum-weighted sum of the charges of tracks associated to a jet is sensitive to the charge of the initiating quark or gluon. This paper presents a measurement of the distribution of momentum-weighted sums, called jet charge, in dijet events using 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of data recorded with the ATLAS detector at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV in $pp$ collisions at the LHC. The jet charge distribution is unfolded to remove distortions from detector effects and the resulting particle-level distribution is compared with several models. The $p_T$-dependence of the jet charge distribution average and standard deviation are compared to predictions obtained with several LO and NLO parton distribution functions. The data are also compared to different Monte Carlo simulations of QCD dijet production using various settings of the free parameters within these models. The chosen value of the strong coupling constant used to calculate gluon radiation is found to have a significant impact on the predicted jet charge. There is evidence for a $p_{T}$-dependence of the jet charge distribution for a given jet flavor. In agreement with perturbative QCD predictions, the data show that the average jet charge of quark-initiated jets decreases in magnitude as the energy of the jet increases.

In this Letter, comprehensive results on ${\rm\pi}^\pm$, K$^\pm$, K$^0_S$, p, $\rm\bar{p}$, $\rm \Lambda$ and $\rm \bar{\Lambda}$ production at mid-rapidity ($0 < y_{\rm cms} < 0.5$) in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV, measured by the ALICE detector at the LHC, are reported. The transverse momentum distributions exhibit a hardening as a function of event multiplicity, which is stronger for heavier particles. This behavior is similar to what has been observed in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC. The measured $p_{\rm T}$ distributions are compared to results at lower energy and with predictions based on QCD-inspired and hydrodynamic models.
